Job Summary:

The Mobile Developer position is responsible for the development of various IT projects assigned to him/her.

Technical Roles and Qualifications:

• Experienced in building React Native iOS / Android applications
• Ensure timely updates and release on mobile App to the Apple and Google Play stores
• Leverage native APIs for integration with both platforms.
• Knowledge of PHP and Laravel frameworks is a plus.
• Maintain code, and write unit and integration tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Take ownership of the product and work independently as well as in a team
• Complete sprints and participate in sprint planning, review, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Bitbucket, Google Suite, etc.

Other duties and responsibilities:

• Write clear and consumable documentation and user manuals as necessary.
• Work with other developers in web and mobile development as assigned.
• Collaborating with design and product team members with your strong understanding of UX/UI, then working with design and product team members to define, refine, and validate product specs.
• You may be assigned to create documentation like wireframes and flowcharts for the tasks assigned to you for ease of discussion to the technical and non-technical sides of the team.
• You may handle requests to improve internal tools and processes used by the team.
• Attend all team meetings and support other team members with any technical requests.
• Client support and troubleshooting as assigned.
• Audits or ensure that project development follows the approved technical solutions.
• Aware of technology trends concerning system or software development trends as much as possible.
• Participates in proposal generation (i.e., reviewing the requirement, designing application features and architecture, and developing estimates).
• Give suggestions to immediate superior on initiatives to increase skills, quality & efficiency for the development team.
• Participates in process standardization and improvement.
• Any other work-related duties that may be assigned.
